Here are what all our Super Readers got up to during book week!
Stop, drop and read!
Our children had to stop and drop whatever they were doing and pick up a book and read all throughout the week as the bell sounded throughout the school.
Workshops at Oaklands
Everyone enjoyed an interactive workshop making spells with Mr. Chu at Oaklands.
Reading with Elizabeth Selby
Lawdale went over to read and take part in activities with reception class at Elizabeth Selby.
Door competition
This year we had to use our reading powers to decode all the scrambled up book titles on our classroom doors.
Phoenix and Chestnut class Storytime
Chestnut class from Elizabeth Selby came over for an interactive reading session with out Phoenix class.
Dress-up assembly
We had an amazing display of all the arts and craft talent at Lawdale as everyone paraded their costumes in assembly.
Everyone spent the whole week exploring their wonderful Superpower.
