African Drumming
Lawdale began diversity week with African Drumming workshops. The pupils had a great time learning all about African drumming and prepping for a performance in the afternoon. They sounded amazing and had the whole of the audience on their feet joining in. A huge thank you to our guest for introducing us all to the world of African Drumming.
African Dancing
Our diversity week continued, as our year 3 and 4 classes took part in African dancing workshops and prepped for an afternoon performance. It was a wonderful show with amazing energy.
Diversity food celebration
We had an amazing afternoon enjoying treats from all over the world. There were tasty snacks on offer, alongside interesting activities. The PTA held a stall with foods from Bangladesh and parents also contributed food. A huge thank you to everyone.
Lawdale concluded diversity week with a big celebration of all the different cultures around the world.
